I'm an Englishman living in France, a husband, a father of a three-year old son and a trainer. I am also a voracious reader, with a preference for fantasy and sci-fi but who will read anything, including the back of cereal boxes if nothing else if available! 

A little explanation as to the blog’s name. 

I was looking for a name that would reflect the vast amount of books I read in a year, but most blog names related to bookworms, ravenous readers, etc. had already been taken. So I got to thinking about the other important element of my makeup – though I am British, I live in France. So I went looking for the French translation of bookworm and lo and behold: le rat de bibliothèque or… Library Rat.
